Relief that that your corrected vision is helping you to enjoy your lifestyle to the max… That your new frame that was carefully and thoughtfully hand-picked to fit you perfectly all while complementing your incredible aesthetic (thanks amazing dispensing opticians!) is getting all the compliments from friends, family, and even strangers (who can blame them!) AND perhaps a bit of trepidation around experiencing some of the following symptoms:
  • Blurry vision
  • Eye strain
  • Poor depth perception
  • Dizziness and nausea
  • Headaches
  • “Barrel distortion” – objects seem distorted
  • “Fishbowl effect” – visual field looks as if it is being bent along the edges
Don’t be alarmed! Our highly trained and skilled optometrists have selected the lens type prescribed to you with the highest regard and IF you experience any of the above symptoms, remember it can take a few days (sometimes a few weeks) for your eyes and brain to fully adjust to your new eyewear. Our dispensing team are happy to make any adjustments to the fit of your frame at any time – come on in and see them for a free frame adjust and clean! If you have any questions or concerns about adjusting to your new lenses or frames, our helpful team is always on hand to provide advice.
